Career Linkworks organise fair for St Patrick’s students

On Wednesday, hospitality students at St Patrick’s College had the opportunity to meet industry employers at a careers fair organised by Career LinkWorks.

Top employers attended, including Hilton Worldwide, Gourmet Burger King (GBK), Fitness First, Citizen M, Red Carnation Hotels, Levy Restaurants (Compass Group), Ten Manchester Street, Wellesley Hotels, and Greycoat Lumleys.

Students met with a diverse range of employers to learn about potential employment and work placement roles, whilst the employers had the opportunity to meet with and potentially recruit new talent.

The event featured two workshops, delivered by Gourmet Burger King and Red Carnation Hotels, providing practical tips, advice, and information on the industry as a whole and potential job opportunities.

This was the second in a series of careers fairs that the Career LinkWorks team is organising over the coming months, as well as delivering 1:1 coaching sessions and providing advice on topics such as CV writing, job search strategies, and interview techniques.
