Notice for Cavendish students accepted to study at St Patrick's

Wednesday 1st February, 2012

Students may be aware that a formal agreement has now been signed between the University of Wales and St Patrick’s College, so that students who were following University of Wales programmes at Cavendish College and have transferred to St Patrick’s will be able to complete their University of Wales courses here at this College.  This affects students who were studying the BSc degrees in Computing or International Business Management, as well as the MBA. It means that these students can complete their courses, using their existing Cavendish CAS and Visa, with the minimum of disruption to their studies.

I realise that different students will have reached different stages of their programmes. The arrangements are that:

MBA students submitting their dissertations on 3 February should contact St Patrick’s immediately to arrange the arrangements for submission.

MBA students submitting their dissertations on 6 April should contact St Patrick’s to ensure that they are registered with us and so that they can be allocated a supervisor.

Classes for all other MBA students are scheduled to begin on 13 February. Timetables will be distributed in the week commencing 6 February.

Classes for the BSC in International Business Management will also begin on 13 February. Again, timetables will be issued in the week commencing 6 February.

Classes for the BSc (Hons) in Computing too will begin on 13 February, and timetables will be issued in the week commencing 6 February.

We are currently finalising the list of students from Cavendish College who have enrolled with St Patrick’s and who are covered by the terms of the partial takeover. The final version of this list has to be sent to the UK Border Agency by 3 February. If you have not yet enrolled at St Patricks and wish to do so to benefit from the very real benefits available as a result of the terms of the partial takeover, PLEASE CONTACT ST PATRICK’S MARKETING DEPARTMENT IMMEDIATELY.  You can contact us on 0207 287 6664 or on email to info@st-patricks.ac.uk
