Tourism including Hospitality is one of the fastest growing economic sectors worldwide giving one ample chances of employability across the globe if armed with the right qualifications and experience.
United Kingdom is one of the top 20 tourism generating and receiving countries according to the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO). London is one of the most popular cities for its Heritage attractions and its hospitality industry. It has been the city that sets trends and standards; inevitably emulated across the world. Learning at St Patricks gives one the opportunity to experience London first hand in context to their course of study.
The School of Tourism and Hospitality offers a range of Undergraduate & Postgraduate programmes in collaboration with the University of Sunderland and Edexcel, delivered by a dedicated professional team who have a reputation for quality, friendliness and approachability. The Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Tourism and Hospitality, however, are awarded by University of Sunderland.
The Guardian University league tables 2011 placed the Tourism Faculty 2nd from the University of Sunderland. St Patrick’s is also the only partner college approved to collaborate with University of Sunderland in Central London.
The department is embodied by academics with eclectic backgrounds; both professionally and culturally. This diversity further benefits students in that they are exposed to experiences and insight, otherwise acquired only by living and working in several countries.
