MSc Tourism and Hospitality

We offer the Vocational Diploma pathway to an MSc in Tourism and Hospitality. This is ideal for those who have been away from study or have only practical management experience since graduating. It allows one the opportunity to first complete a Postgraduate  Diploma in Strategic Hospitality Management and then top up with the MSc; thus acquiring two qualifications.

The greatest benefit in pursuing this split pathway, relative to the usual 12 month university campus MSc, is that it allows flexibility in planning one's future. Students gain dual qualifications that invariably contributes to their employability within middle management.

The Diploma course builds a strong foundation so students may pursue the top up MSc with confidence.  Post graduate Diploma together with the top up MSc at St Patrick's may be more affordable than pursuing MSc directly at a university campus.

The MSc top up covers a broad spectrum of Management & Business related issues which effect organizations. It is taught in a manner that students develop comprehensive insight into how organizations operate and are managed while encouraging modern thinking and practice. The students hence develop the right skills and attitude to be able to pursue employment or set up their own businesses home or away.
