St Patrick’s holds summer graduation ceremony


Yesterday, St Patrick’s held its second graduation ceremony of 2016. Close to 200 graduates and their families attended the ceremony at St Mary’s Church in London’s Marylebone for a day filled with joy and celebration. 

St Patrick’s principal, Professor Daniel Khan, led proceedings with a moving opening speech. He said he was delighted for the graduates and hoped that they would continue to achieve great things.

Many of the college’s faculty attended the ceremony. Vice Principal Dr Dinesh Bist and guest of honour and Vice Chancellor of The University of Law Professor Andrea Nollent addressed the graduates with their own motivational speeches.

In addition to the student awards, the college also paid recognition to several members of staff for the outstanding work they do.

The following staff were awarded the St Patrick’s Aspire to Inspire Award:

  • Lalchand Luhana, School of Health & Social Care
  • Olaniyi Bucknor, Student Support Services
  • Kristina Sakalyte, Academic Administration
