Academic staff attended an international conference on the Restructuring of the Global Economy
A team of St Patrick’s academic staff recently attended an international conference on the Restructuring of the Global Economy, organised jointly by the Academy of Business & Retail Management and Journal of Business & Retail Management Research.
Three of our staff presented research papers on Globalisation and Leadership to an audience of international academics, who came from 26 countries to participate in this 2 day conference held in London. This event provided an excellent opportunity for staff development and professional networking, and the team enjoyed sharing their research and findings with their intellectual peers.
Mr Md Azam (Head: School of Business & Management) commended the efforts made by the team and re-affirmed the importance of participating in future academic and research conferences to raise St Patrick’s College profile in the higher education sector. He further commented that “the Business School is committed to the continuous professional development of its staff which enhances staff motivation and performance which in turn helps us to deliver a quality learning experience to our students”.Back to News
