Career LinkWorks develops partnership with St Patrick’s
June is proving to be a significant month in the development of Career LinkWorks, which is working in partnership with GUS to provide careers and recruitment support across the group.
An exciting new programme in collaboration with St Patrick’s College has been announced, which will consist of running 18 careers workshops and providing one-to-one support for students throughout June to prepare them for the world of work.
St Patrick’s Principal, Professor Daniel Khan, said: “Career LinkWorks will make a vital contribution to St Patrick’s College by way of providing employability skills and opportunities.”
Amol Gurung, Director of Student Experience at the college, added: “All these activities will contribute to improving student satisfaction rates whilst studying and employability prospects upon completion, and these will be used to benchmark the College’s performance nationally.
“Therefore this partnership is an integral element to enhancing the overall student experience and has a big part to play at St Patricks.”
Over the last two weeks, the team has successfully planned and delivered career development workshops on building confidence and time management at St Patrick’s campuses in Stratford and Holborn campuses, supporting 197 students in total.Back to News
