St Patrick’s students visit the Bank of England
A group of business students from St Patrick’s College visited The Bank of England to attend a presentation on the role of the Bank of England and its responsibility for maintaining monetary and financial stability in the UK.
A member of staff from the Bank of England provided students with an insight into the bank’s roles. This included issuing bank notes, monetary policy, financial stability, and the role of the Monetary Policy Committee & Prudential Regulation Authority.
After the presentation, students visited the Bank of England Museum and enjoyed learning about the past and present of the bank.
Students found the visit very useful, helping them to understand the role of the central bank in managing the monetary and financial stability of the country.Back to News
