Google visits St Patrick’s College in London

Dr Adrian Hilton, Launch Co-ordination Engineer at the Google Corporation Headquarters in Mountain View in California, USA, visited St Patrick’s College in London on 4 July (American Independence Day!) to deliver a guest lecture to students from the Schools of Technology and Business Management.

Dr Hilton spoke about the “Role of SREs and Data at Google”. The hall was packed out for his lecture. He answered many questions about the technical aspects of Google’s work, as well as recent and widely reported policy issues. The students much appreciated his lecture and gave him a round of heartfelt applause at the end of his talk.
