After the success of the first cyber security workshop, St Patrick’s Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Development (CEED) organised a second session in collaboration with Barclays.
This event was attended by local businesses, including accountants, solicitors, property developers, a hotelier and a HR agency.
Samiul Hassan, a digital security expert from Barclays Digital Eagle team, and Lucas Solkhon from Barclaycard explained the threats and challenges facing businesses in today’s digital business environment. They also gave helpful tips on protecting businesses from cyber threats.
Muhammad Azam, who is heading the CEED initiative, said: “Our growing relationship with Barclays in the East London region is very supportive for our Enterprise and Employer Engagement agenda.
“We will continue to work with Barclays and local employers to build our reputation as a major local training provider in the region.”
