St Patrick’s annual Student Experience Survey launched
01/07/2016

The annual St Patrick’s Student Experience Survey was launched this week.
It provides a platform for students to give feedback on all aspects of student life at St Patrick’s, including college services and facilities, teaching & learning, communication, and student engagement (events and activities). Listening to the student voice is important to the college in enhancing the overall student experience and making improvements where possible.
The promotional campaign #YourCollegeYourSay encouraged student participation and engagement with the survey. In addition to emails and promotional posters, a short video feature was created specifically for this year’s survey.
In the video, Student Council members Tina Simms and Jonathan Sandy spoke with Student Experience Co-Ordinator Marcia Reais. They discussed the improvements that the college has made based on feedback from the 2015 Student Experience Survey.
These improvements include:
- Investing in St Patrick’s placement services, generating a 90% success rate for health and social care applicants
- Purchased and installed 300 new computers across both campuses
- Launching a careers service that provides careers advice and guidance, job placements, and employability related workshops
