About us

One Westminster exists to serve the voluntary sector and volunteering in the City of Westminster.  We are a second-tier organisation, which means our main aim and purpose is to support others rather than deliver direct services ourselves. From time to time, we do deliver services, particularly if we identify a gap in provision or in partnership with other providers.

We mainly operate out of our premises in Chapel Street, near to the centre of the borough.  We also have premises in Pimlico that include a small resource centre available for hot-desking by voluntary sector groups.

Working For Us

One Westminster is an organisation that runs many projects focusing on recruiting and placing volunteers within the Westminster community. We have specialist projects that focus on key needs such as people with learning disabilities or supporting those who are isolated. We also support community organisations based in Westminster, helping them develop their potential and form partnerships with each other and with funders.

Our organisation is a great place to learn how to manage a project, take responsibility and generally do something worthwhile for the Westminster local community.
